Botev Academy faculty and staff are qualified and highly experienced professionals who are passionate about the success of our students.
Boyko graduates MScs in Automation at Plovdiv Technical University. He taught computer science at Plovdiv Technical University. He holds Ph. D. degree from Bulgarian Academy of Science, where he worked as an associate scientist and head of Hardware Design Department.
He lives in the U.S.A. since 1999, currently works as a program/project management specialist at the National audio and Video Conservation Center at the Library of Congress.
Boyka graduated Sofia University with a degree in Computer Science and second degree in Teaching Mathematics and Computer Science. Later graduated in Teaching English as a Second Language at DIUU-Sofia, studied a course for brokers at Varna University, and took two semesters in accounting in BCCC-Baltimore. She has seven years of experience as a teacher in Bulgaria. She worked as a translator of documentaries and books, and as a coordinator in a business production at the Bulgarian National TV.
She lives and works in Maryland since 2003.
Marusya graduated Shumen University with a degree in Bulgarian Philology and a second degree Russian Language. Later she graduated Sofia University with a degree in Primary School Education. She holds a fifth class of qualification at DIUU-Sofia, has specializations in Contemporary Literature Education, Computer Literacy, Technology and others. She worked 34 years as a primary teacher in Bulgaria.
She lives and works in Maryland since 2014.
Malina graduated Musical High school with a specialization in cello. She holds a certificate for professional qualification “Musical Events Organizer”. She graduated Academy of Music, Dance and Visual Arts in Plovdiv with a degree in Pedagogy in Music Teaching with a professional qualification Music Teacher in Childcare, Primary, Middle and High School. She has also studied Choral Conducting.
Malina performed on stage in a number of European countries.
She lives and works in the United States since 2004.
Svetlana Evgenieva graduated from Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" with a degree in "Social Pedagogy" and a master's degree at the University of National and World Economy "Accounting and Control". In 2018-2019 completed a Montessori method course for children from 0-3 years and for children from 3 to 12 years. In 2019 completed a course in "Waldorf pedagogy".
