A celebratory concert by the talented students of “Hristo Botev” School – Washington.

On the eve of the brightest holiday of Bulgarian alphabet, education, and culture, May 24th, students, parents, teachers, and friends of the school enjoyed exciting poems, cheerful songs, instructive dramatizations, piano and saxophone performances.

We began with the sounds of the Anthem of the Bulgarian Education “Go, revived people” and at the end of the celebration, we all sang the hymn of Cyril and Methodius together.

We immersed ourselves in a world of beauty and harmony. The children celebrated Bulgaria and the Bulgarian language. They danced to Bulgarian rhythms.

Traditionally, we sang the school anthem “The Book Guides Me” and concluded with a collective folk dance.
