Celebrating the Cyrillic alphabet day at “Botev Academy” a Bulgarian language school in Washington DC area. After singing the Bulgarian all school anthem, the students presented a nice program. Our guests from the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences explained the nature of the Bulgarian spring celebration rituals. The show concluded by the Bulgarian national anthem performed by Evan Kelly. After the show adults and students formed Bulgarian horo following the initiative ” I like Bulgarian folklore dances”.
